Preventative Care
Routine Exams
Routine checkups help detect problems early, assess a child’s cavity risk, monitor growth and development of the jaw and tooth eruption in order to develop a personalized treatment plan. Early exams focus on preventative care.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride effectively reduces childhood cavities by preventing enamel mineral loss and promoting enamel remineralization.
Digital X-rays
Digital x-rays emit up to 80% less radiation than traditional x-rays. We use minimal radiograph exposure while providing clear images that detect cavities, monitor erupting teeth, and check for abnormalities within the bone during development.
Sealants
Sealants safely coat the chewing surfaces of back teeth to create a barrier on the deep grooves that hold food and bacteria. This lowers the risk of cavities and support long-term oral health.
Oral Hygiene and Diet Coaching
Our team offers kid-friendly guidance on brushing, flossing, and diet choices to promote long-term oral health.
Space Maintenance
We use space maintainers to keep the proper room for permanent teeth after premature baby tooth loss. The space maintainer appliance is custom-fitted in the office and allows for natural eruption of the permanent tooth, minimizing orthodontic correction in the future.
Minimally Invasive Treatments
SDF Treatment
Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) is a gentle, non-invasive cavity treatment that helps stop early decay and protect teeth without drilling or anesthesia. This liquid application is quick and cost-effective, often delaying or preventing the need for more extensive procedures.
Curodont
Curodont is a non-invasive treatment that helps stimulate remineralization on early enamel lesions and stop small cavities from progressing. It can also be used to treat white spots lesions from post-orthodontic procedures to improve esthetics and support enamel regeneration.
ICON Resin Infiltration
A restorative treatment that treats post-ortho white-spot lesions and certain congenital hypocalcified enamel lesions. While ICON gently infiltrates and seals weakened enamel, deeper cavities will still require other restorative treatment.
Hall Crowns
A Hall Technique crown offers a minimally invasive way to manage larger cavities by sealing the tooth to prevent further decay with a stainless steel crown without drilling or anesthesia. It is an excellent option for patient with dental anxiety or patients too young to sit for treatment who need treatment for larger cavities on the molars.
Restorative Care
Tooth Colored Fillings
Tooth colored fillings repair cavities with a natural-looking material that blends seamlessly with your child’s tooth.
Crowns
Pediatric crowns are durable, protective caps used to restore baby teeth with larger cavities or weakened tooth structure.
Pulp Therapy
Pulp therapy gently treats inflamed, infected or injured tooth nerves which relieves tooth discomfort.
Extractions
Extractions are performed gently and safely to remove damaged teeth and protect your child’s long-term oral health.
